News from Kent:
As suggested by Beth, and fully endorsed by me, I would like to invite all those willing to a weeding party at my place this Sat (16 Jun 07). I remember before I started to farm for a living that weekends were sacred and understand those who will not be there. Here is my suggestion:

1. Meet at my place between noon and 1pm for a potluck lunch (with the risk of sending people to work with the post lunch slump).
2. Weed for a couple of hours at my place and where we have vegetables growing at the strawberry farm. (this will also allow Jane to nap)
3. With all the time I save with the extra help I propose that we go canoeing for an hour or two. Probably at Jolicure lakes, but I have been away for 12 years and there could be better spots.
4. Children are welcome to come - either to help or keep Jane company.

I have a couple of extra canoes - but will need some advance warning. Give me a call, as I may not check email before Sunday.

Hello - 20 Jun 07 Delivery

We should have eggs and a smaller amount of rhubarb this week.

Unless the sun starts shining 24 hours a day we will not have lettuce until next week.
